Who is responsible to pay for an interpreter for a deaf individual? Rates/charges (travel? and by when)?

According to the ADA, public and private businesses with over 15 employees that provide services to the general public are required to pay for interpreting services.  Payment is due to the agency at the agreed upon deadline in the contract. Interpreting services should be considered in the annual budget for accessibility services. There will typically be a two-hour minimum charge for interpreting services. Interpreting fees may also take into account travel between assignments.
